Our Story

After nearly 20 years as a Project Manager in Commercial Construction, Jason was presented with an opportunity to join the mortgage industry.  A decision not made lightly after so many years in another career, but with Leah’s support decided to take it head on.  Buoyed by some very talented mentors and industry veterans, Jason caught on quickly with the processes and found that a lot of his previous experiences overlapped with this new venture.  Organization, teamwork, clear communication and a plan to start the job right and end it successfully and on time with a satisfied client. The same values carried over to helping families reach their goals via mortgages.  To hear the endless “thank you’s” from appreciative families saving hundreds or more a month not only brought tremendous gratification, it became a passion for Jason having helped nearly 100 families close their loans in the past couple years.

Leah’s background involved working several years in professional marketing with Seattle firms, bringing a multitude of talents to the table.  You will know within one minute of talking to her.  She is inquisitive, highly organized and detailed, but most of all personable to all those she meets.  With these transactions being the largest that most families will make in their lifetime, communication is paramount.  Leah is definitely a talker!  With Jason running the technical side and Leah spearheading relationships, we decided that our talents combined would make an excellent team running our family-owned mortgage business.  In doing so, we could assure that our values would be implemented by those who work for us and with us.

Apart from work, we are both avid outdoor enthusiasts.  Whether its riding horses, throwing a line in the water, taking snapshots on hikes, or bbq’s with family.  However, we both agree that throwing the ball for our many furry children tops the list.
