The Broker Advantage – What We Do
Broker versus a Bank
As a broker, we do not have the massive overhead, brick and mortar costs or shareholder profits to account for which keeps our price points low. This savings is ultimately passed on to you, the consumer. We understand that many folks have been with their banks and credit unions for many years and we encourage you to request a quote from them for comparison. We are confident you will find we are much more competitive on costs.
We work with several wholesale lenders
People come from all walks of life with varying financial situations. Banks typically offer a cookie cutter one size fits all and if one leg of the chair is missing, they are unable to assist you or they make up for the risk with higher costs. Working with several lenders not only has them competing against each other for rates, but we have much more freedom in finding the right loan for your situation. Many times we are able to help folks who have been denied by a traditional bank.
Mortgages are all we do
Sorry we do not deal with credit/debit cards, car loans, or checking accounts. Banks are good for that. We deal specifically with residential mortgages which we feel gives us the edge on the wide variety of programs and promotions that are available. As your loan expert, we can explore several options with you for the most optimal fit to achieve your goals. This also provides for less red tape and higher efficiency allowing us to close your loans much faster.
We work for you
Its hard to imagine going through a home sale or purchase without an experienced real estate agent. We feel the same way about finding the financing for such an important transaction. Similar to a real estate agent, we are your loan agent. We interface with the lenders, underwriters, title teams, and all other players on your behalf. All the while being accessible and keeping you updated throughout the process from application to closing day.
